- - I removed buttons from an Azazie gown.
- - Shank-style fabric-covered buttons couldn't be attached so I stitched the edges of the fabric to the gown.
I am a seamstress, and I was asked to do alterations on an Azazie gown. I had to remove the buttons.
The shank style
of the fabric covered buttons
would not permit me
to stitch them back onto the gown.
I actually had to stitch through the fabric on the sides of the buttons to put them back onto the gown.
Typically, these gowns are wonderful to work on however, this proved to be a challenge.
The needle will not go through the shank.
This is why I had to stitch the edges of the fabric of the buttons
onto the gown after doing the alterations

I used the chat box and asked to contact a human. Once I was put in touch with a human being, the matter was resolved very quickly. I was sent one return slip for online items and to mail the package back. My contact with a human being made all the difference, so I have changed my review to five stars!

Hi there, I ordered two dresses for my granddaughter to wear to my daughter's weddings. My granddaughter is a junior bridesmaid.
Since she doesn't live with me, it took me a while to get accurate measurements, so I did order them later than was recommended. However, according to my ordering, they would’ve been here a couple of weeks before the wedding, so I felt comfortable going ahead and ordering them. About a week before the wedding, I got an email from you saying that the dresses were lost in shipping. I understand things happen, but there was no suggestion about a solution.
I also couldn't get a hold of anybody because there is no phone call I could make until the Tuesday of the next week. I tried to chat with someone on text, and they basically blamed me for not ordering it four months earlier. Again, I was already an upset patient; someone offering solutions would’ve been much more helpful than blaming me for not ordering them sooner and telling me there was nothing that could be done. I got on the website and saw that I could order try-on dresses that could get there in time, but the timeframe it gave me indicated that they would get here in time or not, depending on the shipping.
I asked if I could pay extra to have them fast shipped. Again, the person I was speaking to had no confirmation that they would ship them quickly and that I would pay for it so they could get here in time. This was a very bad experience for me. I will definitely not be recommending Azazie to anyone.
It is not because a mistake was made; it was because of how the mistake was handled. At a time when emotions are high and people are feeling very pressured, i.e., wedding planning, etc., helping with problem-solving, if there is one, especially one that's on your end, would’ve been much more helpful and wouldn’t have left me with the feeling that I will not be recommending your company to anyone.

I am a seamstress and I needed to move buttons on the dress. The zipper was stitched too close and did not zip easily.

The shank of the button was so tight I could not stitch through the shank. I actually had to stitch through the fabric of the button itself to re attach to the gown
